The Goofy Goose is a personal project of mine. I was searching for a fun background for my phone but couldn’t find one that felt just right. After scrolling endlessly, I stumbled upon a funny image of a goose. Personally, I’ve always been a bigger fan of cheetahs, elegant and fierce, but I have to admit, geese are fun too.

Unfortunately, the image I found was a bit dull; it lacked personality and needed something extra. Luckily, I know my way around Adobe Illustrator. Using the original image as a reference, I created my own version of The Goofy Goose. To make it even more fun, I designed a collection of playful accessories and even took requests from friends and family who wanted their own customized goofy goose.

Can you make a diver goofy goose? I want to show the people I meet when traveling this summer!

For example, I made a rave goose for a friend who loves to party, complete with her special rave glasses. For my mother, a devoted bird lover, I created a goose with a small bird on its head. Of course, I couldn’t resist adding a little Easter egg; I made the bird poop on the goose’s head. I doubt she’ll ever notice, though. She’s aging gracefully, but her eyes are bit further along.

My friends and family were all thrilled with The Goofy Goose and kept asking me to set their custom versions as their phone backgrounds. The requests kept coming, and soon I started hearing that my friends had shared the backgrounds with their friends, who loved them just as much. I don’t think there’s a greater compliment than that!

I’ll definitely keep making goofy geese. :)
